We already serve business owners who come to us to support their practice in becoming trauma-informed from a behavior analytic perspective, as well as experienced behavior analysts who want resources and mentorship for their leaders. Often those who are managing BCBA’s and growing their caseloads into populations affected by trauma, foster care, dual diagnoses or aging need help expanding their boundaries of competence. Now there’s something new! Check out Peri/Mentor, our new mentorship subscription program for folks needing mentorship while navigating through difficult changes ourselves. Ethics codes in behavioral and similar professions emphasize taking care of ourselves, but that can be awfully difficult to do in the face of life changes and age-related shakeups. That’s why Dr. Camille is focusing on teaching therapists to more fully understand the needs of people facing hormone-behavioral interactions. What’s the twist? Getting mentorship on the tools you’ll use, by using them with yourself first. And guess what: as you master this in your own life, you’ll be much more prepared to help your aging client population, deal with caregivers and staff going through these events, and support the parents of your clients.
